Step 03 — AI Redesign

How will humans and AI deliver this work?

For each activity, choose how the work will be done. Each mode counts as a share of today's time — a simple rule of thumb, so every team is measured the same way. These are hypotheses to test, not decisions.

Human-led

People do most of the work; AI plays little or no part. Facilitation, workshops, negotiations, sensitive conversations.

Counts as the same time as today

Human + AI

People drive and lead; AI helps a lot — drafting, analysing, summarising.

Counts as about 70% of today's time

AI-led

Agentic work: AI agents do the work; people review, supervise and make the decisions.

Counts as about 40% of today's time

Wherever AI informs decisions about people or customers, keep a named person accountable, check results for errors and bias, and be open about where AI is used. Some uses — like hiring or performance decisions — count as high-risk under the EU AI Act.
